Remember the Land
A downloadable book
The land is damned.
Its inhabitants fled to safety.
Soon, all that stands here will be destroyed and no one will remember it. Unless...
"Remember the Land" is a solo game where you play a traveler and cartographer who is trying to register a map of the region and its features before the land is destroyed. There is nothing you can do to save the area, but you can make sure that future generations remember its history. You have to be quick though, or you will be caught in the calamity that's about to happen.
To play this game you will need: standard deck of 52 playing cards with the jokers removed, pen/pencil and note paper, a token representing your character, a flat surface for laying out your card grid.
Content warning
This game talks about abandoned homes, death, desolation and unstoppable doom. It might get gloomy. If any of the suggested prompts makes you uncomfortable, feel free to ignore it, make up your own to replace it, or stop playing altogether. Your well being is more important than the game.
